Community Outreach

Along with donating food and money to local organizations, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church offers these opporunities for outreach in our community.

Youth Ministry

Our youth ministry includes a children’s message during Sunday service, with a breakout Sunday School time during both Sunday services. St. Paul’s also hosts several youth events, including a foam party, Easter egg hunt and trunk-or-treat.

Giving Fence

The Giving Fence is located near the front of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on S. 18th Street. Anyone is welcome to place new or lightly used coats, hats, gloves, scarves or other clothing items on the fence. The items are meant to help anyone who is in need of clothing or gear to stay warm.

Birth to Five

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church provides a safe, comfortable home for Birth to Five. Our own Schutte Hall provides space for the largest Birth to Five playdate in Richmond. Please reach out to Birth to Five if you have an interest in joining or helping.

Mats and Quilters Group

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is home to a quilters group who meet weekly to quilt, learn and discuss quilting. We also have volunteers who create sleeping mats for those in need. The mats are created from used grocery bags. If you would like to donate bags, or learn to create the mats, please fill out our contact form.
